Designer and sculptor Frank Giorgini was the first to bring the Nigerian musical tradition of the Udu drum to the modern world.
Hand Made Udu drums are still available from Frank Giorgini. Used by many well known professional musicians, the Udu drum is more than just a piece of art. See the original Udu designs by artist Frank Giorgini.

Giorgini, also a master tile-maker, has published a how-to book and video entitled "Handmade Tiles". His current projects include custom tiles for the NYC Subway System.
